A treat!

I got myself a little treat yesterday......

I absolutely adore Dr Pepper! Unfortunately, I have to pay $2.50 for a can in the import shops and they never have the diet one. Bugger! So I buy one occassionally and share with my daughter. It's worth the 1 point for half a can IMO. (I always thought Dr Pepper was cherry. Seems I was wrong!).

I lost again this week. 0.7kg this time. The scales just keep going on down. I didn't do my planned exercise this week...only Monday & Tuesday. But I did wear the pedometer to the craft show & got about 2.5 pts each time so I suppose that all helps. I must get back into it this week though.

  1. Well done on another loss, Alison! And good for you for having your Dr Pepper treat. I tend to go for more of a champagne type treat myself. I lived for several years in the US and although I was never a Dr Pepper fan, I sure do miss A & W root beer. I'm with you, I always thought Dr Pepper was cherry flavoured too. Now I've got the jingles in my head "I used to be alone in the crowd . . . but when you look around these days, there seems to be Dr Pepper craze. Be a Pepper, drink Dr Pepper . . . " Thanks for that moment of nostalgia. I better go now before I start singing "A & W root beer has that frosty mug taste . . ."

  2. I know this is old, but it might be relevant! Coles in Perth has just started selling Dr Pepper in the fridge, near the iced teas and sports drinks, oddly enough. It's not at every store, but I've seen it at a few, so might be worth giving it a shot - and perhaps for a bit cheaper than you've been paying :)
